Salary:

Rates effective September 15, 2021 through June 8, 2022

 

Daily Rate: $225 ($37.50/hour)
Long Term Daily Rate: $279 ($46.50/hour)
*Long Term daily rate starts on the 21st consecutive day in the same assignment.*

 

Location:

Districtwide

 

 

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree
  2. Basic Skills Requirement (Pass the CBEST or equivalent. For more info, go to: https://www.ctc.ca.gov/credentials/leaflets/basic-skills-requirement-(cl-667)
  3. Valid California 30-Day Emergency Substitute Permit OR
Valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential / Education Specialist Instruction Credential OR
 
Meets requirements for a CA 30-Day Emergency Substitute Permit (https://www.ctc.ca.gov/credentials/leaflets/30-Day-Substitute-Teaching-Permit-(CL-505p)

 

You will need to submit the following:

  • Certificated Online Application
  • Copy/Screenshot of current, valid California Teaching Credential/Substitute Permit from the CTC website
  • Copy of all official college transcripts
  • Copy of CBEST test result or equivalent
  • Current resume
**If you currently do not have a Credential/Sub Permit, CBEST test result or equivalent, please upload a copy of your official transcripts in lieu of those documents.**

CVUHSD utilizes Frontline Absence Management, an online substitute placement system, to simplify and streamline the process of finding and managing substitute assignments.  The system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
