BOARD MEETING WILL BE HELD IN-PERSON

 

In compliance with the current health order of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, in-person attendees will be required to wear a mask when indoors.

 

Public Participation: The Board of Education will meet in-person for the September 14, 2021 meeting.

  • In-Person Participation: Members of the public wishing to attend the meeting in-person must be in compliance with health orders issued by the California Department of Public Health, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, and all District COVID-19 protocols. Members of the public attending the meeting in-person will be required to wear a mask when indoors, and seating for audience members will be spaced at 6-foot intervals.
  • Remote Participation: Members of the public who do not wish to attend the meeting in-person may follow the meeting remotely by clicking HERE
 
Public Comments: Members of the public may address the Board regarding items on the agenda during public comments and the public hearing. Please note all comments will be subject to limits on public comments established by Board Bylaw 9323. Comments from a single individual may not exceed three (3) minutes, and the total time for comments on each topic shall be limited to fifteen (15) minutes. 
  • In-Person Public Comments: Members of the public wishing to make public comments in-person at the Board Meeting must be in compliance with health orders issued by the California Department of Public Health, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, and all District COVID-19 protocols. Members of the public attending the meeting in-person will be required to wear a mask when indoors, and seating for audience members will be spaced at 6-foot intervals. At the meeting, complete the Request to Address the Board of Education form and submit the completed form to the Executive Assistant. The Board president will call your name when it is your turn for comments.
  • Remote Public Comments: Members of the public who do not wish to make public comments in-person at the Board Meeting may either submit their comments via an online form, or they may submit written comments directly to the Superintendent's Office. The online Board Agenda Public Comment Form will be available on the district’s website from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. on the day of the Board meeting. Disability and Translation Information: Any person with a disability may request this agenda to be made available in an appropriate alternative format. A request for a disability-related modification or accommodation may be made by a person with a disability who requires modification or accommodation in order to participate in the public meeting to the Superintendent (District Office, 14901 S. Inglewood Avenue, Lawndale, CA 90260) between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (at least 48 hours before the meeting). All efforts will be made for reasonable accommodations.

If members of the public would like a Spanish interpreter or would like to speak about an item on the agenda or a non-agenda item in Spanish, the assistance of a Spanish interpreter will be available by notifying the Superintendent's Office of your attendance at least 48 hours before the meeting. 

Photography/Video: By participating or entering the Board meeting, you give consent to being photographed, videotaped, and audio recorded. Video, audio, or still images of Board meetings may be published and disseminated on official publications of the Centinela Valley Union High School District, including its website.
