Special Notice Regarding COVID-19 - Public Participation:

In compliance with the Governor's orders, the District will conduct the Board of Education meetings as a teleconference.  Public Comments for this virtual meeting must be submitted in writing in advance. Those wanting to make public comments must submit them in writing using the online form or by dropping them off at the District Office. All submissions must be received prior to the start of the open session of the board meeting. The online Board Agenda Public Comment Form will be available on the district’s website from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. on the day of the Board meeting. All submissions will be collected until 5:00 p.m. the day of the meeting and will be read aloud at the public meeting. Please note all comments will be subject to the Board’s usual time limits on public comment. Comments may not exceed three (3) minutes. Disability and Translation Information Notice: Any person with a disability may request this agenda to be made available in an appropriate alternative format. A request for a disability-related modification or accommodation may be made by a person with a disability who requires modification or accommodation in order to participate in the public meeting to the Executive Assistant to the Superintendent (District Office, 14901 S. Inglewood Avenue, Lawndale, CA 90260) between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (at least 48 hours before the meeting). All efforts will be made for reasonable accommodations.


If members of the public would like a Spanish interpreter or would like to speak about an item on the agenda or a non-agenda item in Spanish, the assistance of a Spanish interpreter will be available by notifying the Superintendent's Office of your attendance at least 48 hours before the meeting.


Photography/Video: By entering the Board meeting, you give consent to being photographed, videotaped, and audio recorded. Video, audio, or still images of Board meetings may be published and disseminated on official publications of the Centinela Valley Union High School District, including its website. Any unauthorized re-broadcasting of any video, audio, or still image of Board meeting video recordings made by the Centinela Valley Union High School District is strictly forbidden without advance written permission of the Centinela Valley Union High School District.
