Exit Exam Suspension & Request for Diploma

California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE) Suspended

On October 7, 2015, Governor Brown signed SB172 into law. This law suspends the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE) as a requirement for high school graduation for the next three years, and is to be applied to students beginning with the Class of 2006.  Students who previously failed to receive a high school diploma solely for failing to meet the CAHSEE requirement may complete the following application to determine the student’s eligibility to receive a high school diploma from the Centinela Valley Union High School District.  Applications will be reviewed by a Centinela Valley Union High School District counselor.  You will be contacted after review of the application with next steps.  Please allow up to 4 weeks to process the application.
