Digital Learning Initiative
Chromebook Training Program
 
Every 9th grader in the 2017-18 school year will receive a take-home Chromebook as part of our Digital Learning Initiative at Centinela Valley Union High School District. Prior to receiving the Chromebook, the student and a parent/guardian must attend a mandatory training at the school site. 
 
This training will be made available on an as-needed basis through the school Media Centers.
 
 

Please note, this training will take approximately 1 hour to complete. 

 

REQUIRED Steps 1-4

 

STEP 1: Complete the online Digital Learning Initiative Online Agreement by clicking HERE

 

STEP 2: Watch the Digital Learning Initiative Training Video below by clicking HERE

 

STEP 3: Take the DLI Training Video Quiz by clicking HERE 

(note, the student must be signed in with their @cvuhsd.org Google account)

STEP 4: Print and sign the DLI Computer Check Out Agreement HERE (requires parent and student signature)

 

The following steps are optional and should only be completed if:

  • The student does not have Internet access at home
  • The student wishes to apply for the free Sprint WiFi Hotspot program.
  • The student understands that this application process does not guarantee a free Hotspot

 

STEP 5: Complete the Sprint Hotspot Online Application HERE

 

STEP 6: Print and sign the Sprint Agreement HERE (requires parent signature)
