Wellness Centers

Starting with the 2017-18 school year, a Wellness Center was created at each school site as a safe refuge for students. The Wellness Centers soon became a central location where students could receive various types of supports and services in a safe and confidential manner. Services may include mental health consultation, brief intervention, individual or group counseling, meditation/mindfulness workshops and other self-regulation tools, grief and loss support, referrals to community-based organizations and more. Both the School Social Worker and Social Work Student Interns operate out of the Wellness Centers and provide a wide range of services to meet the mental health and social-emotional needs of students. Contact your school site to learn more about or visit one of our four Wellness Centers.
