Leuzinger HS New College-Prep Program Funded by U.S. Department of Education

Leuzinger High School was awarded funding by the U.S. Department of Education for a new college-preparation program in partnership with Volunteers of America, Los Angeles (VoALA), called the Educational Talent Search Program.

The program offers free services to students from Leuzinger High School that participate. Program activities include:

• Academic advisement (tracking A-G requirements)
• College & cultural enrichment field trips
• Standardized test preparation (PSAT/SAT/ACT)
• Assistance with scholarship searches
• Tutoring
• Workshops (academic, gender awareness, senior year preparation and timeline, networking, financial responsibilities, athletics, etc.)
• Individual help with college and financial aid applications
