Security Cameras
CVUHSD is taking a proactive measure to increase security and safety on our campuses. I am pleased to inform you that the School District has established a comprehensive surveillance system. This system is used to protect District property and to deter criminal activity. Cameras are not located in restrooms, locker rooms, or classrooms. This does not imply that any school in our District is unsafe; rather, we are choosing to use every tool available to be proactive and ensure that our schools are safe and secure.
Notes:
Cameras may not be monitored at all times
Recordings may be used in disciplinary proceedings
Recordings may be referred to local law enforcement
