Assessment Information Page

CVUHSD’s assessment philosophy embraces the idea of using assessment FOR learning. As such, we have developed a district-wide assessment system which includes a variety of district wide common formative and summative assessments, Smarter Balanced Interim Assessments, tests of college-readiness, and the required statewide assessments. Teachers and administrators are trained to use the results of formative and summative assessments to improve teaching and learning. Through this process, along with a rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum, we aim to prepare every student for College, Career, and Life!
